". . . Lennie was still drooling over Linda who was pushing herself backward up against the headboard to get as far away from him as possible.
I pulled open the drawer with my left hand and grabbed the 45 with my right. It was laying in just the right position for this or I might have looked pretty foolish. OK, I could have put all 140-some pages right here, but considering all the money I've spent for computers, cameras, travel, alimony (just kidding about that, sort of), clothing, food, and many things only my accountant is aware of; I decided to go and have it published. Some would call it Vanity Publishing, and I can't think of a better name myself, but I will say I didn't want to put up with all the fighting that many of the great publishing houses would start trying to get the rights to publish this future Poolitzer Prize work of art. It is finally ready, available to all my friends, all 2.4 of them, at lulu.com. Don't you all rush there and crash the internet, there's no hurry. You may find LuLu somewhere on this page, if you look very carefully.
